BERNADETTE BUCCINI
Mrs. Buccini began her career at Edward J. DeSeta Company, Inc. in 1967 shortly after the death of her father, who was the founder and president of the company. Mrs. Buccini stepped in to oversee the operations of the company, until purchasing the company from the family stockholders in 1994.
At that time, Mrs. Buccini became President of the company until it overall was sold in 2020, after leading it for nearly 55 years. She was responsible for the operations of the company, including finance, accounting, and human resources. Edward J. DeSeta Company, Inc., founded in 1945, remains one of the largest union heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) contractors and engineering firms in the MidAtlantic States.
The company’s main office and plant facilities are located in Wilmington, Delaware. Edward J. DeSeta is qualified as a Woman Business Enterprise (“WBE”). Mrs. Buccini is actively involved in the community and in the past has been a member of the Board of Directors for the Ministry of Caring, Grand Opera House, The Jefferson Awards of Public Service, St. Francis Hospital, and the Board of Trustees for Padua Academy, Saint Anthony of Padua Education Fund and St. Anthony’s Community Center.
