FOSUWA ANDOH

Fosuwa Andoh is Rose Town Foundation’s Artist in Residence and Farm Manager. She is a visual griot and educator who works in glass, ceramics, and other multimedia. She first became involved with Rose Town in 2013 as part of the Prince’s School of Traditional Art Outreach Programme.

She worked closely with Rose Town’s potters, respecting their existing expertise and helping them raise an awareness of their own creative ability, while at the same time teaching them new techniques and design. She’s held a number of other residencies, including Celebrating the Traditional Crafts of Northern Nigeria and Reviving Traditional Dyeing Craft in Wellingara, The Gambia.
